Technology Sales Role

This is an opportunity to work at one of Australasia's most respected distributors of secure, open, cross platform technology for business, government and education. If appointed to this role you will be working with partners across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific ranging from small resellers to large enterprises. You will be working with a range of enterprise solutions that by their cross platform nature are applicable to most organisations. The product and service portfolio will include thin client hardware, security hardware and software (firewalls and web content filtering), email, calendaring, document management, collaboration, CRM, enterprise wide backup & data recovery, archiving, remote access, server systems and management. The underlying technologies include Open Source, Linux, UNIX, Windows, Citrix and VMware. You need to be a proactive “self starter” and a good team player. A good command of written and spoken English is essential as the preparation of written proposals and the delivery of oral presentations to customers is essential. You will need good commercial skills and the ability to facilitate the development of innovative solutions. Previous experience in technology sales is essential. Experience in channel sales, enterprise security and infrastructure solutions will be an advantage. Location: Pennant Hills, Sydney with some travel.
