The first milestone of Univention Corporate Server (UCS) 4.0 is
available as DVD-ISO for
64Bit architectures.
New features:
- Update and adaption of 16,500 Debian 7.6 based source packages to UCS requirements as the underlying Debian distribution is now updated to Debian 7 Wheezy
- Linux kernel version 3.16
- Pre-release version of Samba 4.2. for the broad management of Active Directory domains
- Highly performance MDB-backend for the LDAP directory service
- The milestone aims at channel partners, technology partners and interested parties who want to take a first look at the upcoming release of UCS.
